Day 01 : Arrival at New Delhi
Your journey to the land of splendor begins with your arrival at New Delhi, the capital of India. Here you will be received by our hosts and would experience a stay in a beautiful colonial hotel. If your air journey hasn't taken a toll and if you're in-bound flight leaves you with spare time during the day of your arrival then a trip to the old city of Delhi is option. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 02 : Departure for Khajuraho
Today you wake up early and after breakfast take a flight to Khajuraho. The Khajuraho group of monuments has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and is considered to be one of the "seven wonders" of India. Khajuraho has the largest group of medieval Hindu and Jain temples, famous for their erotic sculpture. You check in to the hotel and head to the western group of temples. You can have your lunch at the roadside café overlooking the temples. Go in after lunch to explore the beauty of the world heritage site of Khajuraho. The temples here are just mesmerizing. After your tour, you go back to the hotel to rest and have your dinner and retire for the night.
Day 03 : Panna Tiger reserve
You begin your day with breakfast and head towards Panna National Park, a part of a unique ecosystem, very rich in biodiversity. The terrain of the national park is extremely rugged and consists of sandstone peaks, narrow gorges, ravines and dense forests. Here you will be staying at the Taj Safaris Lodge, an exquisitely designed conservation and wildlife focused lodge located close to the Panna National park and Tiger Reserve. You enjoy a sumptuous lunch and rest for some time. In the late afternoon, you can take a boat ride into the beautiful ken river or a trek into the jungle. Come back, have tea and enjoy the wonderful setting at the lodge. Later have your dinner and retire for the night.
Day 04 : Panna Tiger Reserve
Today you will be woken up early with a cup of tea/coffee. It's the day you go to the tiger reserve inside the national park. The fauna comprises Tiger, Leopard, Four-horned Antelope, and a variety of birds including the Hornbills and Peafowl. Enjoy the very scenic Panna with its rich flora and fauna. Come back, have breakfast and rest. Have a hearty meal at lunch as after lunch, you again go to the park for a drive. You see and explore the park this time in a different light altogether. You come back, have tea and rest. Have your dinner and retire for the night.
Day 05 : Bandhavgargh
Today you wake up at leisure and after breakfast and head through the Vindhya Hill range for Bandhavgarh. A paradise for wildlife lovers, it has the highest density of tigers in the world. A most beautiful scenic drive will take you to Bandhavgarh. Here you would be staying at a beautiful jungle camp, set amidst ten acres of reforestation project. You have your lunch and rest for some time and later in the evening; you can go to the nearby villages to see the weavers and potters at work. Come back, have dinner and retire for the night early.
Day 06/07 : Drive in the Tiger Land
Today you start early for a ride inside the park. Bandhavgargh arguably has the oldest fort in India dating back to 2000 years and the last residents moved out in 1935. You would have the services of the resident naturalist at the camp. Enjoy the rich flora and fauna of Bandhavgarh and you are likely to see the tiger. You have your lunch and start again for your afternoon Safari. You explore the jungle in a different light altogether. On return, you rest in the comfort of your lodge and have your dinner and retire for the night.
Day 08 : Kanha
Today you wake up at leisure and after breakfast head for Kanha. This is where Rudyard Kipling got inspiration to write the Jungle Book. The park has a significant population of Royal Bengal Tiger. Kanha National Park is home to over 600 species of flowering plants. There are many species of grass recorded at Kanha some of which are important for the survival of its animal species. You will have lunch on your arrival at your Jungle Lodge. In the evening you can go for a ride or a walk in the reserve forest. Spend the night in the wilderness of the Jungle Lodge.
Day 09/10 : Park
You would have an early morning start for your safari into the national park. Kanha is one of the densest forests of India where scientists have successfully implemented the ecological programs. During the two days at the camp, you would have morning and afternoon safaris to the park. The camp offers various activities like bird walks and nature trails. You can also go cycling in the forest reserve area. You can also visit tribal homes in one of your excursions.
Day 11 : Departure for Delhi
You wake up early and after breakfast leave for Jabalpur to catch your flight back to Delhi. After Reaching Delhi, either you can rest and relax or go for shopping at Janpath. After dinner retire for the night.
Day 12 : Departure for Delhi Airport
You wake up at leisure and after breakfast leave for the International Airport to catch your flight back home.
